Barton Olive Oil

Barton's olive groves nestle on the Kogelberg mountain range overlooking Walker Bay. The olives are hand picked at optimal ripeness and cold pressed on the day of harvest to give a top quality olive oil with low acidity. Barton olive oil is a natural product.

When the temperature drops below 7 degrees centigrade the oil may go cloudy. Once it warms up, this cloudiness will clear. Olive oil is a preservative. Ideal storage is at a constant 14 degrees centigrade. Avoid storage in direct sunlight and heat.

Barton's Mission olives are available as table olives. Barton's olive oil is a blend of Frantoia, Lechino, Coratina and Mission olives producing an oil with an aroma of freshly cut grass, a fruity flavour in the mouth with a hint of pepper which continues to the after taste.
